What is colour change wrap?
A colour change wrap, also known as vinyl wrapping or paint replacement wrapping, is a process that involves applying a coloured vinyl film to a vehicle to change its appearance. The vinyl can be used to completely or partially change the colour of the vehicle.
Some things to consider when getting a color change wrap include:
Paint condition
The adhesive in the vinyl sticks better to clear coat than paint that is peeled or worn.
Type of vinyl
Cast vinyl is considered the industry premium and is ideal for complex surfaces such as vehicles.
Thickness
Thicker films, such as thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), can prevent stones or debris from penetrating the film.

Reversible
The original paint is not damaged, so the wrap can be removed without causing any damage to the paintwork.

Color change wraps are generally more cost effective than a high quality paint job.
